Professional Experience
Juliana has over 15 years of experience managing and leading social, environmental, and economic projects for diverse sectors and markets, including the public sector, private sector, NGOs, and multilateral organizations. In the private sector, she has developed programs and led sustainability and competitiveness initiatives for the food and beverage industry, as well as the graphic, cosmetics, and fashion sectors, among others.
She served as Director of Private Sector Relations for The Nature Conservancy, where she developed several projects related to climate change, water resource management, and regenerative agriculture. In this role, she led the proposal that became a finalist in the MIT Solve Global Climate Challenge 2024. She also served as President of the Graphic Arts Guild, where she led several academic and commercial events.
During her time at Bancóldex/Colombia Productiva, she coordinated open innovation programs and the first cross-sector productivity pilot projects. She received a scholarship from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to attend a Kaizen course in Nagoya.
Juliana is the author of several articles published in Revista Dinero and co-author of the Natural Climate Solutions Handbook, published in 2021 by TNC.
